Seoul Forest

We took Jocey on our first adventure to Seoul Forest, it was only about 10-15 min. away from our house. We love new experiences and it was great being outside. Logan and Jocey wanted to climb all the way to the top but it had a gate blocking the path so they went as high as they could.

Yes, we saw turtles in the insect garden and it was so sad. These huge turtles in a little cage. The kids thought they were pretty cool.
I couldn't find this insect for so long. Finally Logan and Addy come over and two seconds later they had found it! If you look closely you will be able to see it right next to the glass.
Seoul Forest also had a butterfly room, which the kids loved! They had so much fun chasing butterflies.

Almost every park in Korea has exercise equipment. I was telling Jocey about it and sure enough here it is. In fact when we were leaving we saw this little old Grandma practically doing the splits so....it must work!
Logan thanks for sharing with us how we all felt....HOT AND SWEATY! It isn't so bad yet but enough to remind me of what it will be like.
Seoul Forest also has a deer area, it was fun to see them. Logan and Addy were sad they didn't get to pet them. This portion of the park was closed so we looked from far off.

These slides were awesome. We thought the one below was huge until we saw this one! It was super fun the kids loved it.
Aunt Jocey, what a great sport! The kids were a bit nervous at first so she went with them.

Seoul Forest was also filled with many beautiful flowers and trees. Definitely different but it was really fun. We all had a great morning and enjoyed being outside on an adventure. It was nice to see young kids and youth aged kids in this park. They loved seeing my kids and of course we had a few come and practice their English on us. It was fun and so nice to have Jocey with us.

It is going to be a fun filled month with Jocey around. I hope I can stay caught up on all of our adventures.

Aunt Jocey is here!

Addy was so happy to have a new person to read to her!
This was our first day with Jocey and the kids are in heaven. I can tell they enjoy having a fun, loving, energetic Aunt. She is awesome and is so good with the kids. We are happy that she is getting to know Addy and Logan better. Addy warmed right up and sometimes calls her "Henry" (her best friend from nursery) but most the time it is "Jocey". I love that she is seeing Addy and her funny personality. She is something else!
We are so happy to have Aunt Jocey here with us. She flew all the way from Utah and got here Tuesday night late so the kids were most thrilled to wake up to her.

Tee ball

Addy and her purses, she loves carrying them around with her. She is such a little lady!
Logan finished Tee-ball last Saturday. He loved every minute of it, but his favorite was playing first base and getting to catch the ball a lot.
I was so surprised to see that I actually got a picture of Logan catching the ball. I am amazed at how much he has improved in such a short time. Spencer and Logan have been having a blast playing catch!
I think he is so handsome!
Logan and Addy have been getting excited for swimming. They thought they should try out their goggles in the tub.

Spencer's Bday dinner, homemade pizza, grapes, and a diet root beer. Good times!
We took this cake to our Sunday School class and enjoyed it with them. We have the best youth and it was fun to celebrate Spencer's bday with them.

Logan Graduation---Preschool

Logan and his friend Joshua being silly!
Logan finished pre-school and a bit shocking to me they went all out on cap and gown and everything. They were really cute and Logan did great. It was fun hearing him sing with his class.
Logan was so so sad to find out he wouldn't have the same sweet aid Ms. Beth next year. His tender little heart hates saying goodbye. It brought back so many memories of me a year ago saying bye to Bern.
He is one handsome dude! I am so proud of him and all his hard work. He was so cute walking into the chapel where graduation was held he found me and gave me a big hi five! It was pretty cute. I love seeing him happy...I think he was most happy that he wouldn't have to be practicing graduation ANY MORE!
We missed our Daddy but he had just returned from Hawaii the night before and was off to work.
Addy loves you Logan! I can't believe you will start Kindergarten next year we will sure miss you. So here we go to live it up over the Summer, we will have lots of fun!
I think this picture will be so fun to have in 14 more years and he is graduating from high school & then on to college! :-) Logan you are handsome!
