Everland with Aunt Jocey & The Paterson's

We had so much fun going to Everland with Jocey and our friends the Paterson's.
If you notice Everland is trying to be Disneyland, we are about to go on a boat ride called International Village similar to It's A Small World.
Addy was sad she couldn't go on the ride like Splash Mountain so the worker gave her a sucker.
Logan & Luke had fun on the Elephant ride (aka Dumbo). They kept trying to hide from Taylor.
Taylor & Logan wanted to ride this over and over I think they ended up riding it 4 0r 5 times in a row.
Addy enjoyed this ride a lot too.
The park was empty which was so nice for us. They are on this ride all alone and it went on FOREVER....while the Korean workers sang the song to them and did a little dance! :-)

Fun on the Carousel.
It was a hot day...not the worst but hot so the kids loved getting wet in the splash park. I had brought Addy an extra pair of clothes and not Logan...he eventually dried. Addy was asleep for this part and didn't even need her extra clothes go figure!

I really love spending time with Spencer!
Beautiful flowers and look at those lights they look familiar! We also went to this really fun seal show and a bird show with everyone.

We took a bus ride thru the African safari. We kept joking that Aunt KR could have just come with us to see the animals. It felt like Jurassic park the bus would pull in and have to wait for the back gate to close then the front would open. We saw tigers, elephants, zebras, giraffes, bears that followed the bus and did tricks for treats. It was fun (kind of sad for the animals, it was just small.)

This I have to say was probably one of Logan's favorites of the day. You pay a dollar and get to feed the birds. He really loved it.

Addy wasn't so sure about the birds but stayed with Spencer the whole time.

Our two headed turtle!

These garbage cans look very much the same as the ones at Disneyland.
We found our hidden Mickey. :-)
It was such a pain having to use a map to know where we were going!

The entrance is very much the same to Disneyland as well. If you can't tell we are Disneyland lovers and can't wait to go in October with the family! Everland was a really fun day and we will definitely be going back.

4th of July & More

Our great friends David & Liz came over for Hamburgers and Liz made this beautiful cake. I love America and miss so many wonderful things about our great country. I am glad we were able to celebrate together. It's always fun having them over. Liz is just amazing it tasted great and was so patriotic. We were able to watch the fireworks from our window and Spencer played the Star Spangled Banner on the computer so we could get the full effect. (Logan cute smile buddy.)
Game time with Dad. Addy isn't messing around...learning how to hold the controller right.
Logan your a handsome dude!

I can't get her to look at me! She looked so cute at church in her 4th of July dress. Since we are no longer a US Military branch we are more like an International Branch (ward) we didn't sing any patriotic songs and I sure missed that.
Addy tried playing Yahtzee with us but instead found her self stacking them up! (Logan did roll a Yahtzee of course!)
It is so so HOT & HUMID here but these crazies were excited to try out their new raincoats.
Addy & Logan both love to build with blocks.

Natural History Museum Korea

Wednesdays has become our Adventure day with friends. We have been visiting lots of fun places. Last week we went to Seoul Forest and the week before we went to Seoul Grand Park Zoo. I will blog those soon....believe it or not I still have more Jocey adventures to post. It has been a ton of fun getting out with other friends and especially other moms. We all have a blast! No matter what the activity is we are together and having a great time.
This week was the Seodaemun Museum of Natural History. The kids had a blast playing in the sand box. They were looking for dinosaur bones. (Yes t,hey were filthy when we left and all took showers when we got home. It was so nice because they had benches in the shade for us to sit, chat and watch them play.)
We had a monumental moment today, Addy stayed dry and went potty in a public bathroom. She has been going potty at home and doing amazing! I was not going to be stressed out when we left home so she had a diaper on. A couple hours into our journey I needed to go potty so I asked her and she did too!! I am so happy for her. Couple hours after that we got home and she was still dry and went at home. She is amazing.
She wanted to climb in and get the baby dinosaur.
Logan & Addy loved seeing all the cool animals.

Outside on the balcony they had dinosaurs. It was so hot we only lasted a few minutes.

We watched a short 3D movie the kids thought it was so cool. Logan and his friend Madelyn.
Ruth looked so great in her glasses.
We had 19 of us. I am sure we are a sight for all Koreans. No we aren't a school group...just a bunch of Mom's having fun with our kiddos!

Outside the museum is this long slide. We waited for everyone to come and enjoyed the slide!
We had a fun day, now I am exhausted!
We look forward to next week. It makes me sad to think that Logan will be in school soon and not with us having fun. (They grow up too fast!) :-(
