Fun at home

Logan did an awesome job making his cow. We are going to try making our own red barn. :-)
Addy thinks her pig is so cute. Especially her yellow button nose.
Addy got these cool farm animals for her birthday and the kids LOVED making them. They did a great job.
We actually broke down and bought a new couch. We did the best we could with what we had to choose from. I sure do miss RC Willey! They are a huge improvement and the kids love them too.

Happy 24th of July

Pioneer Day Ward Activity in Seoul Korea.....check out our good looking pioneer family. It was a super fun activity and I appreciate all the work that went into it. We had a great breakfast, games, contests, pictures, coloring, and I made homemade butter! All these fun pioneer activities reminded me of my Grandmas. It brought back memories of sourdough biscuits from Grandma Brady and pulling Taffy with Grandma Asay. My friend Darsha made these pioneer bonnets and rag doll, ADDYSEN loved it. (Yes, Darsha is amazing!) Addy thought they were hers to keep and didn't want to give them back at the of the day. She was adorable.

Puzzles and Sancks

Jocelyn and I spent a lot of time putting together Disney puzzles. I can't remember exactly how many we finished but I think we did 6 or 7 total. This is a new fun one Jocey bought.
This beast is a 2000 piece puzzle Spencer bought last Christmas...we finally did it!
Addy and Logan are enjoying a morning snack together.

Addy is such a girl but still loves to play with Logan and all his cool toys.
The kids had a lot of fun at this little table with Aunt Jocey coloring and eating snacks.

Yongsan Family Park with Jocey

On our way out of the park we passed this little pond and of course had to check it out. What kind of animal life could we find?
TURTLES!!
It was super fun we loved seeing them. We couldn't even get a good count at least 4 or 5.
We had so many fun picnics with Aunt Jocey. We miss our buddy!
Logan I love your smile. :-)
Addy you love playing at parks especially with your brother and Aunt Jocey.
We had to take pictures of the work out equipment they have them in all the Korean parks.
Jocey loved it!

Happy Father's Day

We were out of town for Father's Day so we opened everything early. Logan, Addy and I had so much fun going to the Art's & Crafts Center and making these plates for Spencer.
Spencer thanks for being the the best Daddy ever. We are so proud of you and appreciate all your hard work. We look forward to you coming home everyday! We love you so much.
Thanks for the nice Father's Day gift from Mom & Dad.....and Addy stole Spencer's Mickey pillowcase you made. She needed to match Logan :-)!

Children's Museum with Aunt Jocey

I have been to the Korean War Museum but not the Children's Museum connected with the it, so we decided to check it out. The kids had a blast, they could touch everything! It was really fun and it made it neat when we went to the real Temples to see the same things they played with in real life.
They loved playing music.

Dressing up was a blast! Logan thought he was the man in charge!
He had some serious business to attend too. His kingdom was being attacked!
Addy loved this little kitchen they had set up just her size.
This face was the best, he was so proud of himself! What I loved the most was not telling them to not touch this or that.

We didn't know we should bring our own paper so instead of coloring Addy stacked the crayons up. Look how cool these crayons are....I've never seen anything like that before.
Logan trying to build a traditional roof.
They have a little movie room and Addy went in and 2 seconds later I checked on her to find all these school girls surrounding her trying to get her to talk to them. :-)
Logan grinding wheat.
Outside of the Museum is so pretty with a trail and this beautiful pagoda.
Dad this trees is for you, I loved it and I can imagine you saying "I need a tree like that in my backyard!"

Jocey checking out her good looking slippers!

Logan & Addy both love animals and were so happy to see this duck and her ducklings.

We had a great time and will definitely do it again. The best part Jocey couldn't believe it too but it was FREE!
These are random shots of Addy....cute girl.

War Memorial Adventure with Jocey

I know this picture is strange but I have a good story to go with it. We were walking all around the War Memorial and we were surprised to see so many police and also men in suits with ear pieces strolling along. I mentioned to Jocey that it wasn't normally so heavily guarded. Then we passed this man on a bench if you look you will see him sitting with his legs crossed. He has an earpiece in also....really undercover :-). Later we were standing around eating crackers and Addy was trying out Logans scooter when all of a sudden a man in a suit picks Addy up and hands her back to me. We all moved out of the way and a whole caravan of people and cars showed up. Come to find out it was the President of Turkey who had arrived. It was a bit creepy I kept waiting for a sniper...I felt like we shouldn't have been there. (I wonder if they didn't know how to tell the crazy American's with kids to go home!) It was a fun adventure!

This scooter was the best purchase ever! We have even had to replace the wheels because he rides it so much. It sure has been a lifesaver for me here in Korea.

Addy loves her "Henry".

The kids both loved taking turns in the drivers seat.

Seoul Tower in the background we hiked that the last Saturday Jocey was here with us....pictures will soon follow.
Give me your tiger face!

I really love Korea and am so glad Jocey was able to visit us and see all the neat places we go to. Look how pretty the trees are....too bad you can't tell how hot, humid and sweaty we are.
Logan is so helpful and loving. He was super excited to help Addy up these big stairs. We really love visiting this memorial. It is cool and so close to home. aka....no traffic!
