So when I was a kid, if you were to ask me what my favorite car was, it would have been easy for me to answer... my Dad's 1967 Pontiac GTO. However if you went into my bedroom you would have been greeted with my #2 pick, a Lamborghini Countach. So imagine my joy when today I got to experience both. I was driving it home from my Grandma C's house when I saw the Lambo pull out of a parking lot. There was a truck in front of me and I thought to myself how cool it would be if I could pull up to the line next to this super-car. Well, the planets aligned and the truck pulled out at the last second and there I was... at a red light on the line next to a Lamborghini Countach. The coolest thing about the GTO (besides its color) is that it does not matter what the other guy is driving, it could be a Porsche, Ferrari, or whatever... when I drive past them, they are looking to see what I am driving. Well that is what this guy was doing when the light turned green :)
So I beat him off the line...
And just like the Beach Boys advised... to keep the traction I rode the clutch...
The only thing better than seeing a Lambo next to you is seeing one in the rear view mirror of a 1967 GTO.
And even better... having your wife film the whole thing!
So there you have it.... one more thing off my bucket list, and Logan was riding shotgun for the entire thing.
