Chinju at night

All at once around 6:00 pm, the lanterns began lighting up.
It seemed to get dark quickly and we got to go and see everything that we had seen during the day again.
 The cranes were beautiful.
During our time here, we have seen a lot of these in the wild fishing for eels in rice fields out in the country.

Logan was inspired to take flight.  Fly away Logan! Be free!

Sadie thought the pine trees were pretty cool.  The whole fortress sort of had a Temple-square-at-Christmas feel.
 Lots of bright colors.

Our backs were hurting from walking around all day.
The guards on the hill were very impressive.  They lined the hill for about a quarter mile.

We observed the river floats from the fortress.  We didn't feel up for going back down to the bridge.
This guard was eating a chicken leg on duty.
For the year of the dragon there were two big dragons floats.
Not bad for a guy that looked confused when I gave him the camera :)

Logan and Addy loved the pavilion.

 Korean tight-rope walkers are amazing.

 Playing the drums.

Chinese Chess.  Lots of fun once you get the hang of the rules.
Sadie was starting to get tired by then.  The kids had a blast, and slept well when we got back to the hotel.

I think these pumpkins would be even cooler as Jack-O-lanterns...

One last look before heading to the car.  What a blast!
