So many trees. It smelled so fresh and clean and in contrast from summer, it was not hot and sticky but rather cool and refreshing.
I know that if Grandpa Allen were here he'd be smelling the bark on the trees:)
My beautiful family.
Checking out the stream.
Can you see what we saw? You have to look closely. If it hadn't been slowly crawling along the floor of the stream we'd have missed it.
This one on the other hand, was easy to spot and though it was out of reach to catch... it was fun to see him hiding out.
The stream was full of life.
Logan was as anxious as ever to do some exploring. This time we opted to stay clear of climbing cliffs on the edge of the ocean:)
Addy, sandwich in hand set out to join us at first. Normally less squeamish around bugs, she saw a beetle and turned back.
Sadie also decided she wanted to join us, so...
off she went. Luckily Mom was there to save her life.
Addy finished her sandwich stream-side.
Logan checking out nature, we saw snails clinging to the rocks, and minnows hiding out in the shallows.
SPIDERS!!!
Sadie chilling on a stone bridge.
I had never seen these before. They are some type of moth that look like humming birds when they hover over the flowers. It was cool to see them uncurl their long noses into the flowers. Korea is home to many cool bugs.
Up at the playground, Logan met some new friends visiting from Taegu.
Sadie about wore out the slide. She had a blast. The only challenge was dodging all of the adoring masses that were feverishly trying to snap pictures of her.
Her hair is sure getting long.
It won't be too long and Logan will be missing his currently loose front teeth. "Sister Suzie sitting on a thistle" should be fun this Christmas.
My girls.
We had a fun picnic.
