Though today was October 27, and it had been raining all day, Yongsan Garrison declared the base Trick or Treat to be 'on.' So the kids suited up. Logan wasn't sure what to be this year. he tried on Batman, Superman, Jedi until he finally decided to be Captain Jack Sparrow.
The trouble is, this kid just keeps growing. His costumes are getting small on him.
Addy had similar trouble deciding what or who to be. She went from Brave to cowgirl to ballerina and then back to Brave. So Amber curled her hair and Logan lent her the Bow and arrows that Aunt Kim and Uncle Jason gave him and she made a pretty good Scottish Princess.
Here they are, the princess and the pirate.
Sadie was a ballerina courtesy of Grandma Pauleen. Sadie just was a little freaked out with Logan's costume so getting a group picture was tough.
So we headed out and found that the rain was still coming down. We were going to go to the embassy housing but opted instead to try out Blackhawk village since it was a shorter distance to walk in the rain.
Perfect weather for Pink Floyd.
An hour later, and soaked to the bone, we headed back home to enjoy the spoils.
Not too shabby! I was surprised to see how much of this candy came from Mexico and China... I had no idea we were outsourcing our sweets.
We watched Ichabod which is Sadie's new favorite movie... really, she watches it everyday and asks for it by name..."bikabod" and I can't tell her no. Bing is getting us excited for Christmas.
Happy Halloween everybody!
