The bus ride was long and renting gear was kind of complicated but once we were finally putting on our skis and heading towards the lift, it was all worth it. Logan had never been skiing, or skating or anything close to what he was about to experience, so it took a little getting used to. It had been 6 years since I had been skiing either. Fortunately it is kind of like riding a bike, it was so good to be out on the slopes.
Sung woo doesn't quite measure up to Snowbird but it was perfect for Logan to learn how to ski. His first trip down he spent a lot of time with his skis crossed, but the second trip down, he had it pretty much figured out. Unfortunately he is like his dad... doesn't see much use for turning...
One time we got off the chair to find a huge group of new skiers (hundreds, according to Logan) right in front of us, they started down the hill and were falling left and right, just as Logan was starting his decent. I was worried that he was going to plow into some unsuspecting skier but he masterfully dodged them like a pro. We had a blast and can't wait to go again.
