Logans first Soccer practice

Logan was so excited for Soccer! He was even more excited when he found out his teams color is RED.....and then he was handed the #4 shirt so that he thought was cool because he is 4!!
I have to admit that his first soccer practice was a shock to me. He was really hard on himself. Logan my happy Logan cried when he didn't make it into the goal every time! I feel so bad for him. I want him to have fun and enjoy learning. So we talked a lot about that after practice. As a parent I felt so bad for him and then I was feeling bad because I promise I don't beat the kid for not being the BEST and everything.....
He did super good and had a fun time. I hope this Saturday he will learn from watching the real soccer team play. He came home from going with Spencer and said "Mommy they didn't cry when they didn't get it in the goal." So glad he realized that.
He has a really nice coach "Mr. Ken", so we are so happy for 6 weeks of soccer. Here in Korea they don't actually play against other teams until next year. So we will be doing lots of drills and learning the basics.

FC Seoul at the World Cup Stadium

Sunday after church, Logan and I met up with Ben and Lauren at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul to watch FC Seoul play Taejon. This is the first game that we have been to in Korea.
The stadium was huge and since there was not too many people there, we pretty much had our choice of seats. Logan's ticket was free and mine only cost $10.
The hard core fans set up behind one of the goals and were chanting and singing the entire game. FC Seoul won 3-0 and every time they scored, flares shot up from behind the goal, it was really fun to watch.
Logan just started soccer lessons last Saturday so I thought it would be fun for him to see what the pros look like.
They have a pretty sweet jersey, maybe I will have to pick a few up for the fam.
Here he is cheesing it up for the camera.

Saturday Outside Fun

Last Saturday we went to a field on base and played Frisbee, Soccer, Baseball, and Football. We had a great time enjoying the fall weather. Logan has his first Soccer practice today so that post will come later.
I am one lucky girl!
Logan had so much fun playing Soccer with Daddy.
I just happened to be trying to get a picture of Addysen when Logan biffed it big time!
It was a great day being outside. Spencer and I had so much fun playing Frisbee together it has been a long time since we did that. I felt like a little kid again. It was a blast enjoying the fresh air! I love this time of year.

I love them!

Last Sunday I thought my crew looked so good. Spencer for one thing you are a great dad. But man you are handsome for ME!! I love your eyes, thanks for loving me.
Addysen & Logan all ready for church. I love being a mommy, it's a hard job but the Best one ever.

Labor Day Weekend Bike Ride

On Labor Day Weekend we had a fun day outside. Spencer and Logan rode bikes and man I wish I could have with Addysen but we didn't have a helmet for her. Logan was having a blast being the star of the day! I don't think that anybody has ever seen a bike like this. They all waved and talked and thought Logan was the coolest kid ever...they are right! He loved all the attention and says "hello" in Korean and they love that.
Addysen and I walked and walked and walked.....she was happy to get out and run around. This is the Han river behind us, it has a trail all the way along it. I wish I knew how many miles we went a couple at least.
Addysen makes some funny faces! She loves her Daddy even though she teases him all the time.
This is us walking trying to meet up with our bikers. The picture of us is small but I thought it was cool to give you an idea of the bridge we crossed over. Fun times.
Logan had a whole photo shoot done before we met up with them. So even though I am behind on Labor Day Activities here you go!

"Oh Mama How pretty the Moon looks tonight"

One night we were sitting on the couch and out of the corner of my eye I saw this huge, pretty, moon. The song my Dad sings to Logan that his mom used to sing to him came to my mind, "Oh Mama How Pretty The MOON looks tonight....it was never so pretty before". Anyway Dad this is for you. It sure made me think of you and miss you. I have been feeling so very thankful for wonderful parents who taught and raised me well. This week especially been thinking of Dads?? I don't know why but I do know I have the best Dad in the world. Thanks Dad for always making me feel beautiful and loved. You have helped mold me and make me who I am today. I feel so blessed to have a Dad that loves my Mom so much and showed her that affection. I will always have those memories in my mind and how thankful I am for them. Thanks for always working hard and giving me the greatest life I could have ever asked for. I LOVE YOU!
Thanks to Ben for hooking us up with a great tripod Spencer was able to get these amazing pictures. I love where I live and I love who I live with.:-)

A little of this and that.

Sophie and Addy having a snack. Cute little girls!
Logan and his friends have a great time playing together. They are showing you that Logan turned 4 years old.
I love this picture of Logan using Addy as a foot rest. They are so cute together, I love watching them interact. She sure loves giving him loves.
We just love Addysen's hair all neat and all crazy!

I had to post this picture because I think she looks so cute. She is growing up so fast! I wish I could make the time stop but I can't so we are enjoying every moment.
Bern, Mom & Bri this is for you. Yes, this is Amber Asay Cottrell's house!! I had a few friends over for knitting and while the moms knitted and had a fantastic time the kids had a blast too. I had some ajida (BERN don't know how to spell it...) But I learned a great lesson this day and I am working on my OCD ness....The kids had a great time and it was okay my house was a mess because they had fun. No crying, lots of laughing from mommies and kids. It was neat at one point I thought I would slip away to just clean up fast and my sweet friend Kathryn said "Amber get in here!" She knew exactly what I was up to, what a wise woman.

I feel so blessed to live in the place I do because I get to have this play room. It really helped me in being able to shut the door and it is okay for a minute. This probably makes no sense to most but to me it is a huge step. I also learned it didn't take me that long to clean it up! I am just rambling but really it was a fantastic, fun day! I always love my clean house and that came just and the end of the day.

What was really cool I wish I would have taken a picture but after a day of knitting 3 of us stopped and pulled out ROCK BAND. You got it 3 woman playing Rock Band when Spencer came home from work. He was thrilled to hear us playing and having a great time. I'm sure in his mind he was wondering "What have you done with my wife?" :-)
Daddy time chillin' on the Love Sac. I sure love this crazies!
Logan & Addysen love playing with play dough. It is so great that she is getting big enough to play too. I love you both.

Good bye to Summer

I am sure Spencer will love me for posting this picture but he is awesome. He is such a fun dad! I enjoyed watching him and Logan dive off the diving board so many times. We will miss this.
Mommy took Logan & Addysen swimming a lot but it was always more fun when Daddy could come with us.
Logan diving to Daddy.
He wasn't even 4 yet in these pictures and he is so brave. I have a fish for a son.
Addysen always loved her food breaks. She enjoys the water a lot too. She puts her face in the water and tries to blow bubbles.
I love this swimming girl! Goodbye summer we will be excited for our hot, sunny days again next year. We had so much fun going to the pools and water parks. But now I am enjoying Korea's cooler weather and a season change. It is so refreshing once in a while I look around for those Utah mountains....Nope not here. Even though we aren't in Utah up in the canyon we are really liking Korea. We are making great friends and time is going by super fast!

Logan's FIRST day of PRESCHOOL

Logan was so excited to go to school! He was even more excited about his new shoes......

This was after his first day he was so happy! He loved preschool and was happy to show me his playground.
It was really shinny so I couldn't get them to both look at me but they are sure good friends.
Addysen was happy to see her brother. Logan starts school at 8:15 and we pick him up at 11:15. I have to admit it was really strange having him gone for that long. It made me a little sad to think that he will now be in school forever......he is getting big. my little buddy is growing up super fast.
It is pretty fun he has a little friend Joshua from church in his class so that is nice to have a familiar face.
Logan I am so proud of you! You did great on your first day of school. It is neat for me to watch him learn. It is amazing when I have been working with him for a long time and then it finally clicks. Maybe it helps hearing it from someone other than mommy.

When I was going to drop Logan off he said "Mommy are you coming with me to school?" "No buddy I am dropping you off...(before I could explain) this is what he said "But that means I am never going to see you or the CAR AGAIN!" How funny that this was the first thing on his mind...mommy and the car. Logan you must belong to your daddy!

I love you and we sure miss you during the day but I am so happy for you!
