Relaxing Weekend

We were spoiled this week with some sunny days and park time! I love the spring. I am happy it is March 1st and getting closer to more outside play. But not wanting the summer heat just yet.
It got a little bit colder by the end of our time outside and Addy was proud of herself for finding her pocket. Heaven forbid she set down her granola bar to get her other hand warm....no way!
I have so much fun getting her cute legs!

We were all thrilled to be outside. I love how Logan's arm is up around Spencer. He loves his daddy.
Those granola bars take her forever to eat.
I was so surprised how much both Addy and Logan have grown up since we have moved here. I love how Logan grabbed his scooter and put it right on his back...no need for my help this year. Addy she is crazy climbing, sliding, doing all she can and more.
Thumbs up!
This is a kiss for all of you far away! (Janet, Addy loves this shirt!)

We played dress ups the other day and Addy fits into her Jessie costume a little bit better now. She was really excited about matching "OODY" (Woody) it was super cute. She really loves those characters.

Logan what a kid! Dressed up as Batman playing with Buzz...what a patient, nice big brother.

Dad's Silver Beaver

It has been a long time coming, Dad. We are so proud of your accomplishment and wish we could be there to see your presentation.
Here is your banner, they told us it would be there by Monday or I get my money back:)
Here are a couple of pics of Grandpa Cottrell getting his Silver Beaver. So cool to have you finally getting yours.

Happy Valentines Day/February!

We were getting ready to go to Dongdaemun and Addy was pretty excited about wearing her gloves.

We hope you all enjoyed your Valentines Day. We had fun with friends making sugar cookies and decorating them. The kids all loved frosting cookies. I have to say the girls lasted longer than Logan but we all had a blast.
Addy, Lauren, Taylor & Logan. It was fun to sit back and watch and listen. The girls kept saying "Logan you have too much frosting for one cookie." It was great! I was laughing so hard inside he didn't care....he knew what he thought would taste the best and ignored them.

Pucker up!
Addy walked out of the play room looking like this and I couldn't resist taking her picture. She is so funny, she walks around the house knowing she looks so cute. :-)
Logan has always loved watching Spencer play his guitar and Ukulele. He always wants to be right with him, sometimes Spencer will let him help. The other night Logan asked so nicely, Spencer couldn't resist. So while Spencer played his big guitar, Logan played the Ukulele. He had an absolute ball! I thought he was so cute his little fingers trying to learn different cords, and having a blast making his own music. He was one happy kid!

We love and miss all of our family and friends. Logan wanted to send everyone Valentines but he is still working on writing names on them. That is hard work for a 4 year old. He did write everybody's name for school Valentines and I was so proud of him. My kids are growing up so fast....slow down!

Distant Worlds Concert

Last month we found out that there was going to be a concert featuring the music from the Final Fantasy video game series. I have always enjoyed the music and thought it would be fun to go and see so we did.
The concert was at the Seoul Arts Center, we took the subway and then walked the rest of the way. The Arts Center is kind of like a compound of art galleries, an opera hall shaped like a hat, and a concert hall.

mmm cherry coke:)
This is the only pic I could take of the inside, they had "attendants" hunting for cameras the entire concert. The music was amazing, the composer was there from Japan, and the entire time they were playing the music, they projected up videos of the games that the music was from. It was a fun memory. The encore performance was FFVII's "One Winged Angel" I put a vid of it at a different venue below. Enjoy! we did. Thanks Katie for watching the kids.

Puzzle # 10 and fun with forts

Ten and counting.... yup it's Disney:)
How to accomplish puzzle building with minimal interference/consumption of pieces... build a fort... hours of fun
We don't bug them, they don't bug us:)

On the catwalk yeah...

Fun times at home

Addy found Logan's DS and decided she needed a turn and was so proud of herself. I'm in trouble now. :-)
Taylor's Daddy was back in the states for 2 weeks so we made him a Welcome Home sign. Logan decided to make Spencer a sign too. I was really impressed that they could write so good with glitter glue. It was a lot of fun!

Thanks Janet

That face makes me want to eat her up. She is the little sister but these days she is getting so big and grown up. She is talking up a storm, going potty (a lot of the time.) Playing with the big kids and just a total blast!
This morning I told her to go find the brown shoes and she did! She is showing them off to you, I love how she put her foot out. Thanks a million you guys.
The red shoes she wouldn't take off! She kept saying "red, red". It was so fun the next morning she wanted them again. Sure why not wear fancy shoes with a pair of jeans. :-)
It is so hard to get a good picture of both of them at the same time.
Best of friends!

Addy has on a shirt and pants from Emily (super cute), I loved it when Logan came out wearing his red shirt to match. :-)
Janet was so nice to send us some of Emily's shoes and clothes. I can't even tell you how much my little girl loved it she was in heaven. She wanted to try every single pair of shoes on. It was really cute. I am so happy to get the package too. Logan was thrilled that Ben put in some dinosaurs and cars for him. He kept saying "I can't believe it, he shared with me!" Thanks for thinking of Logan. They both loved the fruit roll-ups too. Thanks a bunch for sharing with us.

the teeth brushing ritual

What you see here is the end result of a carefully executed ritual of sorts. While telling Logan that he "will have to get gold teeth like the guy in Home Alone if he fails to brush before bed", is enough to get him to cooperate, Addy is a harder nut to crack (literally).
This is what pure determination looks like in its purest form. Addy clenches down every time I mention the word brush. So once she has made the face, the next move is to blow the hair out of her face and then ask in a nice voice, "Addy please open your mouth" (accompanied with an exaggerated smile). Then and only then will she open and let me brush for as long as it takes.
Any variations in the method will be sure to lead to failure, tears and ultimately, gold teeth.

Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Cottrell

Grandma and Grandpa, here are the pics of the present that Logan got with your Christmas money. We got it out and he insisted on getting out the apron and safety goggles that Grandpa sent last October.
You would be proud how well he followed the blueprint and put the airplane together.
So if you need anything nailed, you know who to call...

Logan #3 Modeling Shoot

Logan had another modeling shoot for Gymitt last Thursday. He did a great job and had a lot of fun. Logan and Addy enjoyed get to relax after all the many changes of outfits.
P.J.'s
Of course Logan is always a little bit silly.
Waiting for the next outfit change.
Addy keeping herself entertained with her animals!
This photo shoot what kept Logan going was his APPLE. He was so excited about it, he said "Mom it is the best apple ever that Mrs. Sue gave me." (Like he doesn't eat about 1 a day at home? The little things in life that bring us JOY! :-)) After doing so good each time he had a turn with his favorite apple.
Here he is saying "Apple, Apple?"
Addy found this prop and thought it was pretty cool, she kept saying "light, light". I loved it for the picture her little fingers all wrapped around it.
Nice capris...uh?
This was his first outfit and he was all excited to get going. He did a lot of clothing changes and I am looking forward for the real pictures to come out again. I think this has been a fun opportunity for the kids. Something I never imagined we would have the chance to do and are glad we get to. I love that Logan & Addysen are experiencing paying tithing and saving. Logan keeps saying "NOW WE GET TO GO TO DISNEYLAND!" Korea has brought so many fun adventures into our lives.
Addy loves her books.
I wanted to show this picture because you see his eye and cute smile. Logan ran into the doorknob the other day and man it is taking a long time to heal. I was worried about it but they just covered it up and went to work. I sure think he is handsome!
