Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Logan was so excited about our invisible Leprechaun turning everything GREEN! He was happy and couldn't stop talking about it. At lunch I overheard him talking to Taylor about how "it was probably my mom that put coloring in the milk" Taylor sure didn't think so she told him, " No, Logan it was the Leprechauns!" He finally agreed and for dinner everything was turned green again. Addy wouldn't eat the eggs she kept saying "yucky"! It sure is fun having kids. (Mom thanks for always making holidays fun for me growing up.)
Addy put these glasses on in the car when we went to take Logan to school, when we got there all the moms made such a bid deal over her she didn't want to take them off.
Addy loves this shirt as do I! She kept pointing to it and didn't want to take it off to go to bed. Thanks Janet!
She is teething and keeps putting her hands in her mouth.
"Pretty" she kept telling me.
This was our photo shoot before Logan went to school the sun was too bright! They were cute.
Mom this scowl is for you...Addy is sure good at it. They were both dying. I didn't realize till I saw these pictures how bright the sun was and in there faces! :-) Have a great St. Patrick's Day everyone. We had fun and ended our night with some dancing to Irish music. I love making fun, crazy memories with my family.

Sick Days

Sick kiddos around here the past couple days. Addy and Logan both had a cold with a nasty cough. Addy also had a bad fever on Tuesday I hate it when my kids are sick. I think her fever was because of her teeth she always seems affected by them more than Logan ever did.
(Addy is ready for DISNEY too Caitlyn! WEEE)
They both were excited to pull out new cozy's for the spring from Grandma.
Even when sick we get a cute face. I have to say I love her cuddles when she is sick.
Logan & Daddy took sometime out together to draw pictures. I sure love these boys super much! :-) Logan you are growing up so fast.
Around here Logan and Daddy always say "If you want Addy loves you have to get on the floor." Here is some evidence.
Taylor has been asking for a hat for awhile and I finally finished hers and the flower. Addy is missing the flower but they were all excited for a picture with there hats. Cute kiddos.
Logan loves getting Addy hugs! I think she likes giving them too.

Jello Fun

Logan found the Jello in the pantry and was super excited to make jigglers. They had a blast eating it and cutting out shapes. (Bern the banana bread in the background, I was ready to bring one over to the boys. :-( I think about you guys every time I make it.)

I had to post these pictures because she makes me laugh so hard. This girl has so many different expressions I wish you were all here to see her. She is a hoot!
Her giggle makes me want to eat her up!

Logan is so nice to to his mommy he reads books to Addy so I can take a shower or when I'm getting ready. They both love it and it makes me HAPPY.

Family Bike Ride

Saturday was getting a little warmer and we had some spring fever going on so Spencer got the bikes all ready and we were off. I was a little worried about this little bug below because last year she hated her seat! But as you can see she did just fine. She really loved it and on the way home her head started hitting my back and I knew she had fallen asleep, just like Logan used to do.
She was all cozy and had her binki, blanket and her book next to her. She read that book the whole way to the Han river, and the way home was exhausted she played hard.
Once again we received so many looks. They love Logan's bike add on! Or they thought Spencer and I were crazy for wearing shorts.
We took a lunch and made a great day out of it. I love the SPRING!!
We rode about 5 miles and enjoyed our break playing at this park-ish kind of place.
Logan really loved these walls he had fun climbing all over them.

Addy enjoyed digging in the cracks.....SICKO! And making me crazy, she just giggles and does it on purpose to get my reaction. What a kidder.

This slide was nice and wide.
I was all excited to go with the kids and as Addy sat down her jacket caught my earring and this is the exact moment. "Spencer, Spencer my earring don't step on it!" Luckily we found and no worries.
I wish this picture would turn. Logan loved seeing a Kayak-er in the river.
These benches and seats were at by the trail and the kids got a kick out of them.
Good Ol' Korea. We love this place and are having fun! I love my family and especially the weekends when we all get to be together. If you want to come visit we would love to have anyone at anytime....right now fly out by May 13 Singapore Air from San Fran for $680! I know most of you can't come but I thought I would throw that in. :-) Hopefully summer deals will come up soon.

Sesame Street

I was just getting pictures off our small camera and found these that I totally forgot to post. We had so much fun going to the Sesame Street concert. Being so close to a military base has had many wonderful benefits. It's been really neat for me to see all the activities, concerts, and family programs they try to bring to military families. I know having this opportunity here in Korea has been made even better by all my American conveniences I am offered thru base. I am so honored to be around those serving in our armed forces. We are so blessed to be apart of this great country!
I flipped these before I posted them but it didn't work...oh well. Logan was hugged by cookie monster and touched Elmo. He was really excited.
They sang songs gave out so much free stuff to the kids. They loved it.

I am so blessed to have great friends here in Korea to make fun memories with.
Kinda random but Addy loves these flip flops from Emily.
Logan showing the cool Dinosaurs that Ben & Nate sent him.

The right choice.

Last week we had a cool call from a modeling agency that Addysen has worked with. They asked if Logan would be interested in doing a Hyundai commercial, they saw him in the Oshkosh Ad and wanted to video him to see if they would use him for this shoot. Logan thought that would be really cool and so we said "sure come on over." (Have to say me and Spencer were pretty excited as well, we owned a Hyundai and loved it.) She came and asked him to say "Hi, my name is Logan and I am 5 years old." (They were wanting 5 & 6 year old kids and he looks 5 so he thought that was awesome!) He was shy at first and then his acting side came out and he was super cute. We were told they would call us on Tuesday of this week to let us know. We didn't hear and so I figured he wasn't chosen for the shoot. No big deal just didn't mention it. Then today we got a call telling us he was picked and it would be for this Saturday. I got off the phone and he was super excited. He said "Mom, I'm going to be on REAL TV!" "Yes you are Logan!"

A couple hours go by and they call me back to tell me that they are needing more time to make the set so they need to move the shoot to Sunday. They wanted to know if that still worked for us. I knew immediately that it didn't. I explained to her that we don't work on Sundays because we go to church and it is our family day. If they would like to move it to any other day we would love to join in but we can't on Sunday. She kept explaining the situation hoping I might change my mind but it wasn't even a debate. We believe in Keeping the Sabbath Day Holy. This has been very important to us and I am grateful that it wasn't a conflict in my mind. Of course we are bummed that Logan will be missing out on this awesome fun experience. But, we also know that he will be blessed for this choice. We will get many other opportunities and it will work out just fine. When I got off the phone and explained it to him he totally understood. He was a little sad but I hope that this will be a lesson he can remember for a long time. I know that Logan may not completely understand what happened today, and I also know that for the most part, we made the choice for him, but I hope that in the future he will be able to look back on this and have it be a strong reminder that decisions like this, even when they seem small, become the foundation of who he will become. When harder decisions come his way I hope that he will find strength in the choice we made today.

Rainy Monday, Happy March!

We had such a nice weekend and a couple nice days last week that I was bummed to find rain this morning. Not that I don't love the rain but I sure enjoyed playing outside! So since we couldn't go ride scooters, Logan & Taylor had so much fun painting these little bugs. I need to find more so we have extras for other raining days.
This is pretty normal! :-)
It is fun to watch the difference between these two kiddos. Logan's bumblebee ended up all black with a little red, and Taylor's ladybug you see she tried so hard not to get out of the lines, and changed her colors just so.
This is taking some serious concentration. I can't believe I didn't get a picture of the end results...we will have to do that, because it looks nothing like this. :-)
Logan just posing for you!
