Today we busted out our Easter clothes for church. Logan has completely grown out of the suit that Grandma and Grandpa got him last year, so we asked for another and it came just in time. We were a little worried that it too would be small on our growing boy but luckily, it should fit him for the summer. Addy and Sadie wore matching pink dresses (which they both loved).
Before we took off for church we grabbed the camera and took a few pics.
I get the feeling that both of these girls are going to break some hearts someday.... 30 40 years from now:)
Here are my kids...
I sure love these girls!
Logan made me so proud today. Last Monday we had family home evening with some friends and before we went out to eat, he gave a lesson on Jesus feeding the multitudes with fish and loaves of bread. That night he asked me, "when will I be big enough to get up an church to talk?" I told him that he could do it whenever he felt like it. Today when he saw some of the other kids go up, he looked at me and I told him that he could go. He was so handsome up on the stand and his smile just melted my heart. When it was his turn, he got up there and in spite of the pulpit being lowered to its lowest setting and there being a booster for him to stand on, you could barely see his little face looking out at everyone. He did wonderful. You just had to be there to know how sweet this boy is. When he was done he was beaming and smiled all the way back to the pew. He told me, "at first I was scared then I just thought about what I wanted to say and I felt good". I can't tell you how proud I was to see my little 6 year old boy get up and share his heart with everyone.
Handsome!
Hard to believe that he took a baseball to the face the day before...
If there ever were more of a "moma's girl"...
Sadie sure loves her mama.
and a little more Addy to grow on.
She has her mom's eyes.
