Instead of meeting up with all of the Asays in New Mexico, we talked Dr. Chris into letting us use his condo for a couple of weeks, and the entire Asay family spent as much time as we could together. We even made the drive down to Mt. Pleasant to see Grandma and Grandpa Brady. Sadie and Maddux loved sitting by each other.
Poor Maddux got a little sick on the way back but what a trooper.
We sure do miss those Utah mountains.
So much wide open space here.
And we finally made it. Grandma and Grandpa were sitting in their anniversary swing in the shade. It was so fun to see them again. We have so many wonderful memories, and there never were two happier, fun grandparents.
Addy and Logan tested out the swing. It works pretty good!
Sadie wanted a turn too.
Next she shared a box in the shade with Maddux.
Part of the fun of the swing is that all of the family got to engrave their names into the swing. It is really amazing to see all of the wonderful people that have resulted from two people that fell in love all those years ago.
Never could turn down a chance to play with power-tools...
It was fun to have Bri and Amber back together. Both happy people but complete when they are together.
Amber inspecting the handy work.
Sadie loves playing in the back yard.
Darn Asay girls...
When it got too hot outside, we all headed over to the church gym to play. Nothing is more fun than a game of volleyball with Moapa Valley's finest.
Grandma and Grandpa are great cheer leaders.
When it was time to clean up, nobody helped daddy but my little Sadie. She swept the entire gym for me:)
Everybody else "hardly working."
Next we walked to a local park.
Well... some of us rode to the local park.
Others of us rode once we arrived at the local park :)
We sure had a fun visit.
Here are the final products...
On the way home, we saw some some awesome sky.
