Happy 3rd Birthday Logan!!!

It is hard to believe that Logan is 3. Even harder to believe is that he had just celebrated his 1st birthday when we moved to Maryland. He took his first steps here, and learned to talk, sing and dance here... funny how time flies. We looked at some of his baby pictures and it made us miss our little Loli but every day as he grows, we love him even more. We didn't throw a big party this year cause we were still getting used to being back home. We had a blast walking through the store picking things up for him... Some of Logan's favorite things are: Legos, Starwars and cars, so we got him a bunch of toy cars, a pair of light sabers and a play mobile set that looked kind of like Legos (we'll get him the real thing maybe next year). Amber baked a cake and we frosted it with blue frosting and set the pirate ship in it. Logan got a real kick out of it. What a silly kid, after he blew out the candle I picked it up for him to suck the frosting off and instead, he bit the candle...
Grandma Dana and Grandpa Allen sent Logan this cool doctor kit complete with a stethoscope that makes a heart beat sound and a beeper that is loud enough to wake the neighbors.
Grandma Pauleen and Grandpa Courtland sent a package with several presents for Logan to unwrap, here he is with the binoculars and the Starwars transformer. Kristen also pitched in some great books, he had me read them all to him twice. I highly recommend "I am the biggest thing in the ocean".
So here he is, our BIG little Loli. We love you kid! (even though you give me nuts dude)

Logan-Glen

Sayings from the summer: You are dude, you give me nuts!
-- Translation: Dude, you make me nuts!
Joke of the day: What does a moose say? Moooooo:)
One more jewel: Buzz doll says, "I'm Buzz Lightyear, I come in peace."
Logan says, "No!!! My come in peace!"

Addy-Bri

I just want to squeeze that face! Her stats for her 2 month appointment but she was almost three months. She weighs 12 lbs 10.2 oz in the 75% and is 24 1/2 inches long 90%! She is doing great.

Check out those curls and pretty eyes.........

Addysen is 3 months old today! She is our little angel. Yes we did it we got her ears pierced. We have gone back and forth about the idea for months and finally just decided to do it. She did great and only cried for a minute. Think what you want but you can not deny that she is a pretty little girl. (And now she will take after her adorable cousin Jade!) :-) Thanks Tiff for the pep talk. P.S. Janet and Emily thanks for the cute outfit.

Congratulations Emily!!!

Tonight our good friend Emily was baptized. We got home on Saturday from our summer away to the wonderful news that she had come to church and wanted to join.
Cami and Jake are so great, they called us up and invited us all over for pancakes where we talked about what needed to be done to move things forward.
Emily has always impressed us with her desire to know the truth. When I was a missionary I knocked thousands of doors and found few that would open the door let alone listen to what we had to say. The first time I met her, the Elder who knocked on her door told me that she was really open to their message and seemed to be determined to find out for herself if it was true. She did exactly that which brings us to today. We are so happy for her and her choice to be baptized.
Matthew and Hayden were troopers and seemed to fit right in with the rest of the boys. Jeffy, Ethan and Logan loved having more friends to pal around with.
One of the sisters from the ward baked a cake that says it all. Happy rebirth day Emily!!!

Greetings from San Fran

Last night we spent the night at Jason and Janet's house, we stayed up late playing board games and Xbox which was a total blast... This morning we woke up and went to see the Golden State Bridge and the Muir Woods.
It was crazy to be here with two kids. The last time we were there was in 2004.
Here is a picture of Jason, Janet and the kids. Logan is so funny he refers to Jason as "that guy" and his cousins as his, "friends". He sure has a blast following Nate and Ben around.
Armando flew out to spend a few days with us. It has been fun catching up and playing together like old times...

chillin at the pool

Logan is getting back into the groove of having a Dad. One of his favorite things to do is go swimming. In the past week he has made a lot of progress. He has abandoned any fear he ever had of the water. Next up.... swimming back to the edge:).

Addy's Blessing Day

Today was Addy's blessing. It was hard to be away from all of our close friends in Maryland, but it was wonderful to be in Utah with all of our family. Amber's family was all in town for a family reunion and so we planned for a double blessing for Addy and her cousin, Brody. It has been almost two years since we had so much family around, including all grandparents and all surviving great grand parents. Addysen looked beautiful in her dress and cooperated pretty well. It sure was a happy day.
This was Addy's first time to see many in the family. When we gave her to great grandma Cottrell, she smiled!

Here are my two pretty girls with their curly hair.
I love finally being together with Amber and the kids again. Home is where your family is and I truly feel complete again now that we are all reunited.
Correction... Here are my three pretty girls with their curly hair:)

Logan is really having fun dressing himself and wearing big boy undwear! Check out how he put his plaid shorts on, glasses and man nice p.j.'s top. Looking good, doesn't he match great! Wow crazy hair Addy. I love her eyes.
Pretty Little Girl.
Watching a movie together after a hard day of playing. Cute cousins, check out their hands. They make me laugh. I heard Logan tell Jade "I want to hold you." Logan is going to miss Jade tons.

Fun Summer Rain

Amber Posted:
Yesterday we had this awesome RAIN! Check it out, they are just drenched. We thought they wouldn't last very long but man we were wrong.
Grandma was great and gave Logan an umbrella to cover his chauffeur. Jade is an excellent driver and they had a blast. TURN BABY TURN!

Good Times

Amber Posted:
Dad and Logan were playing on the tramp today and we could just hear Logan laughing so hard. So I peeked out the window and this is what I saw. I had to take a picture but didn't want to disturb them so I just took a picture threw the window. I think it turned out really good and I loved seeing my dad with him. What a great grandpa! Look at those eyes!
Logan shared his sticker can you see it? I just love this picture of Addy she was so relaxed!

"Putt, Putt"

Amber Posted:
Logan and Grandpa have been watching the U.S. open and Logan has loved it. He is learning all about Tiger and Rocko. He would ask who is that guy? But the killer is only Grandma would know the right answer......He wouldn't listen to me or Grandpa. This is why we decided to have a day of mini golfing. We all had a blast.
What a good looking couple! Thanks Dad and Mom for a fun day.
Hi buddy!
It was nice to get out and enjoy the great weather.
Our little "tiger cub"
Grandpa teaching Logan his moves but maybe Grandma should have been the one doing the teaching. She golfed 3 hole in ones right at the beginning. No wonder Dad doesn't want to teach Mom real golf she might beat him and love it too much. :-)
