First you got to craw inside the dryer so that you can get a proper grip on the filter...
Pull up then out being extra careful not to get any lint on self...
Finally, reinsert the filter and close door to make sure that it works.

AWESOME. I've got some of Sheely at that age inside the drawer under our oven :)
I remember doing that exact thing myself. Probably one of my earliest memories. How great to be small enough to fit places.
