Savage Mill

Yesterday we went to the Savage Mill to walk around and see the old B & O bridge. It was really nice weather, not too hot, and not too cold.
Logan is obsessed with "choo choo trains" and loved running back and forth across the bridge. Apparently this is the last bridge of its kind in the world.
Amber is a trooper. Logan came early and we have been hoping that Addy would do the same. At our last appointment, the doctor hinted that everything was on schedule, but you never know...
I love this kid!!!
Definitely a boy...
Loves his mama...
After crossing the bridge, we walked through the forest along side the Little Patuxent River, the trees all have their leaves, and the pollen is thick in the air. Got to love the spring.
Logan posing in front of the original Savage Mill. (not much left of it)
After exploring in the forest, we headed back to the main mill to walk through the shops. It had a Park City kind of feel to it. There was an art studio with paintings out back to dry, a pottery kiln, and a French bakery (the bread smelled so good)
Best of all was the game store inside, they actually let us open up a game, Kids of Catan, and play it with Logan. The prices were kind of steep but we sure had a blast looking.
What a fun Saturday!

Did you happen to spot my family rididng around there yesterday? They did a 7 mile bike ride around savage mill's trails and around the area. That would have been funny!

LOVED those pictures on the bridge, very nice!

I love the mill - it is one of my favorite places, so it is handy that we lived right across the street. I am excited that your little one is coming so soon!

Oh, the guilt. Selena keeps asking to go on the bridge and we haven't done it yet. I guess I'd better before she hears about Logan's fun trip. Cute pics!
