Judd and Taylor at Kimcheon

Road trip... our destination: Chinhae (crazy long drive if you don't stop somewhere).  Our favorite place to stop whenever we have the chance: Kimcheon (middle of Korea, right next to heaven).

Both Judd and I served here (9 years apart) as missionaries and fell in love with the people and the place.  Amber and I have visited there 5 or 6 times since we got here in 2009.  It is perfect because it is small, not crowded, has beautiful scenery, Jikjisa (a beautiful temple), a huge park with fountains a river and a playground for the kids, and on occasion we get the chance to meet up with old friends.

Kimcheon is amazing in the spring.  Everything is so green.  Some people may think of Seoul when they think of Korea, but I can tell you from personal experience that Kimcheon is the true soul of Korea.

Logan and Addy did lots of exploring and hopping around on stones, chasing bugs and looking for frogs (a little too early maybe... we didn't find any this time).

Little princess Addy...

Bear Grylls.. I mean Logan...

And Sadie bug

Addy came across some ants and before I could stop her... squished a bunch.

Luckily, I think there were enough survivors that we'll be okay.

 Sadie practiced walking some more.

Unfortunately Taylor picked up some kind of stomach bug so she and Judd hung back and rested in the park while the rest of us continued on to Jikjisa.  Pardon the Volv shot.
