Judd and Taylor visit, our trip to Seoul Tower

On the Night of Amber's birthday, Judd and Taylor arrived in Seoul.  It has been a full week and we are getting sad since it is almost over.  We have done our best to show them around and rekindle Judd's memories of Korea.  Judd had just finished his mission in Busan when we first arrived here back in 2009.  Now he is back here with his bride and the kids have all loved having an aunt and uncle in town.

A long flight left Judd and Taylor pretty tired and unfortunately, the kids didn't let them have a moment to catch up.

One of our first adventures was to Namsan (Seoul) tower.  Most of the cherry blossoms were gone but there were still a lot of spring flowers for pretty pictures.  Addy loves anything pink.

The trees were pretty too with their new leaves.

Right off the bat, dad lead us down the wrong path and lucky for us, a nice old man got us going in the right direction.  And yet again, Logan made a new friend.

Got to love the spring!

The wind was blowing just enough to keep us cool and the sun was shining just enough to give us all a little burn.  Logan couldn't help climbing up the fence to air out.

Here is the group, hopefully next time we make this hike, little Sadie can do some of the walking

Sadie bug sure loved the strawberry and kiwi slushee drinks.

Wouldn't be a trip to the tower without a visit to the love lock wall.  As I understand it, there was a Korean drama in which the romantic couple visited the tower, wrote a message of their love on a lock, fastened it to the fence and threw the key into the city below ==> forever love!  So now there are literally millions of locks on every surface imaginable.  The tower also features some sneaky benches that force you to sit closer to your partner.

Judd and Taylor have now joined the millions... Judd was very "hands on" about this.... as you can see below.

Here is the lock....

Here is the view from the lock... not bad at all.

Next we made the return journey to the car, not a bad way to spend a Monday.
