carving pumpkins

Halloween is awesome!  We have built all of our Monster Hunter Lego sets, we have made construction paper bats and ghosts that are hanging from our ceiling.  On Saturday after Logan's soccer game we picked up some pumpkins for carving.
 Feats of strength!!!
 Our pumpkin princess
We watched Charlie brown, Mr. Toad and Ichabod.
Speaking of Ichabod, Sadie loves that movie.  She walks around the house singing the song.
I'm excited for Amber to roast the seeds.

My pumpkin had a few rogue seeds that had tried to grow inside of the pumpkin.  It is amazing that the seeds has enough energy to grow so much in complete darkness.
Sadie telling us that this is in fact a pumpkin.
 Good times!
Addy and Logan drew their designs and I cut them out.
Logan's looked like something out of "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

Addy didn't want a scary pumpkin, just a witch pumpkin.
 Sadie is my pumpkin.

Here are the finished products.  Mine...
 Addy's

 and Logan's
 The resemblance is uncanny.
 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
